Jane Theresa Hopkins Herzog, a Retired Administrative Aide for Goshen School District, of Cornwall, NY, formerly of Goshen for 25 years and Ocean Pines, MD died Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Elant at Fishkill, NY. She was 80 years old.
She was married to the late Warren F. Herzog, who passed on January 28, 2013.
Jane was born October 4, 1932 in Orange, NJ to Nelson Daniel Hopkins and Constance Cedarstrand Hopkins.
Jane was a founding board member for Arden Hill Hospital, Goshen and Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin, MD, past president of Ladies Auxiliary of Arden Hill and Atlantic General Hospital, and an avid golfer and bridge player.
She is survived by her children: Betty Jane Bennett and Michael Becker, Diana McNally and Sean, Judy Railey and David Storms and John and Tara Herzog; grandchildren: Brittany and Charlie Bennett, Brian and Kevin McNally, Danny, Brad and Samantha Railey, Aly, Ryan and Casey Herzog; also survived by her brother and sister: Constance Hopkins Kelleher and John Hopkins. She was predeceased by her husband, Warren Francis Herzog; brother-in-law, Alfred Kelleher and brother, Daniel Hopkins.
There will be no public visitation.
A Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 8 at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, 340 Hudson St., Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY 12520.
