Anna E. Gray of Cornwall, NY entered into rest on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence with her family by her side. She was 75.
The daughter of the late John and Anna Johnston Munday, she was born on June 28, 1937 in Newburgh, NY.
Anna loved camping, playing on her computer and cooking, and her table was always open to everyone. She coached in the Cinderella Softball League in Cornwall. She worked at Hey’s Appliances in Cornwall until it closed, and then at Sohns Appliances in Walden. The thing she loved the most was spending time with her family. “ Anna was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, friend and neighbor and she will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.”
Survivors include her daughters; Leslie Youmans and husband Danny; Colleen Penney and husband John; grandchildren Danielle, Jaclyn, Jonelle and Jonathan; brother John Munday; sister Colleen Arnold; her loving nephew Donald Munday; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald L. Gray, brother Parker Munday, and sisters Genevieve Denton and Mary Galietta.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 17, 2012 from 5-8pm at James F. Lulves Funeral Home, 9 Avenue A, Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at 10am at the Friends Cemetery, Quaker Ave., Cornwall.
