Mary Eustace Moran, a retired secretary with the West Point Elementary School at USMA and resident of Cornwall, N.Y., died on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at St. Luke's Cornwall, Newburgh Campus. She was 94 years old.
She was born to Patrick Waters and Mary McWeeney Waters on December 28, 1917 in Manhattan, N.Y.
She was a member of Past Grand Regent of Catholic Daughters of America, Court Rita #264 of Cornwall-On-Hudson.
Survivors include her husband, Frederick F. Moran at home; son, Thomas Moran and his wife, Sharon of the town of Newburgh; daughters, Maureen Breisch and husband, Edward of New Hampshire and Kathleen Greene and her husband, Robert; daughter-in-law, Kathy Moran; grandchildren: Matthew Moran (Deniza), Garrett Moran (Klaudia), Lindsay Moran, Kristin Heineman (Kristopher), Stephanie Stenglein, Tiffany Hopkins (John), Shannon and Caitlin Moran; great grandchildren: Ashley, Michael, Katelyn, and Nathan Moran. She was predeceased by her son, Frederick F. Moran Jr.; brothers: James, William Joseph, and Martin (Busty) Waters.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, October 26, 2012 at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St., Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY 12520. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 27th at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, 340 Hudson St. Entombment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newburgh, N.Y.
