Obituaries: Catherine Veronica Kinsler

Catherine Veronica Kinsler, a homemaker from Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y., died Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Park Bend Nursing Home, Austin, TX. She was 94 years old.
Born August 29, 1918 in New York City, N.Y., she was the daughter of Jeremiah McCarthy and Helen Duffy McCarthy. She was married to the late Thomas Kenneth Kinsler.
Catherine was a member of St. Thomas of Canterbury Church and Catholic Daughters of America, Court Rita #264, and St. Thomas Altar Rosary Society, all of Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y.
Survivors include her daughter, Kathleen M. Murphy of Los Gatos, CA; son, Dennis J. Kinsler of Austin, TX; grandchildren, Cathryn Heley, Maggie Murphy, Stefanie Ruddick, Coleen Kinsler, Bryan Kinsler, Amy Terranova, Angela Froebel; great grandchildren, Jacob Ruddick and Hudson Heley.
She was predeceased by her children, Thomas Kevin Kinsler and Patricia Anne Terranova; also her brothers and sisters, John and Vincent McCarthy, Anne Barlow, Eileen Klinghoffer and Teresa English.
There will be no public visitation.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, Oct. 19, 2012 at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, 340 Hudson St., Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y. 12520. Burial to follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Cornwall, N.Y.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Catherine's name can be made to Therapy Dogs International, 88 Bartley Road, Flanders, N.J. 07836.
