Helen C. Kent of Cornwall, NY died at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh, NY on August 10, 2012. She was 95.
She was a homemaker and the wife of the late Irving D. Kent. She was born on December 25, 1916 to John F. Carey and Ella Fanning Carey.
Survivors include her nephews: Denis Troy and his wife, Barbara of Montgomery, NY, Arthur Troy and his wife, Jeanne of Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY, Michael Troy and his wife, Evelyn of Ocala, FL; also many other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, James B. Kent, June 14, 2012, also sisters, Mary Troy and Frances Lavarello.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St., Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY 12520.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday August 13, 2012 at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, 340 Hudson St., Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY 12520. Burial is to follow in Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor, NY.
