Obituaries: Obituary: Hilda Emilia Rivera
Hilda Emilia Rivera, of Cornwall-on-Hudson, died at home on July 25 at the age 68.
Rivera was born in Puerto Rico to parents Julio Ramos Cora and Juanita Colon DeGracia. She is survived by her daughter Hilda Ivelise Rivera-Asencio and her husband Carlos P. Asencio of Cornwall-on-Hudson, three brothers: Rev. Cesar Ramos, of the Bronx, Julio Ramos, of Florida, and Nicolas Alvarez, of Puerto Rico, and by four sisters: Raquel Ayala and Sarah Ramos, both of the Bronx, and Daisy Ortiz, of Queens, and Denorah Tyree, of New Jersey. She is also survived by three grandchildren: Jeremy, Adrian and Edsel Asencio, of Cornwall-on-Hudson. She was predeceased by her sister Jenny Delgado.
Hilda Elmira Rivera was a member of the Newburgh Assembly of God and was a former member of Christian and Missionary Alliance church in the Bronxi.
