Photos: A Young Photographer's Eye

Twelve-year-old Alex-Michelle Albertson used to fool around with a camera when she was young, taking pictures of animals and family.
In fifth grade she began to take the art of photography a bit more seriously when, with a girlfriend, she made more studied attempts to photograph people jogging by and the natural beauty of Rings Pond.
By the time she entered sixth grade in 2006, Alex-Michelle knew that she wanted to pursue photography even more. Her aunt bought her a camera and she started taking photography lessons.
Here is a photo that Alex-Michelle took out by the Moodna trestle just before sunset. She promises to send more examples of her work in the near future.
