Cornwall Library, St. Luke’s Co-sponsoring Seminar on Arthritis
CORNWALL – Cornwall Public Library is partnering with Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital to host a free seminar and discussion, “Overcoming Arthritis Pain,” presented by board-certified orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Kenneth Rauschenbach. The program will take place at 6:30 p.m. March 9 in the Library’s community room.
The most common type of arthritis is osteoarthritis, which affects an estimated 31 million Americans. Dr. Rauschenbach will focus specifically on arthritis of the hip, knee, and shoulder. This seminar will highlight the diagnosis and treatment of arthritis, including dietary supplements, medications, exercise, injections, and surgery.
Dr. Rauschenbach has expertise in sports medicine, hip and knee replacement and trauma. He graduated from New York Medical College in 1994 and has been in practice for 25 years. He completed a residency at Peninsula Hospital Center. He currently practices at Orthopedic Associates of Dutchess County, P.C., and is affiliated with Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall.
