Margaret B. Richards, of Newburgh, NY, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Elant in Newburgh, NY. She was 85
She was born August 30, 1925 in North Bergen, NJ, the daughter of Jacob Gross and Clara Melcher Gross.
Margaret was a retired secretary for Cornwall Central School District. She was married to the late John C. Richards, who passed away in Sept., 2002.
Her survivors include: her son, James J. Richards and his wife, Luann of New Windsor NY; daughter, Diane (Richards) Wersebe of Delaware; grandchildren: Thomas Richards and his wife, Samantha; Geffrey Richards; Jeanna, Katherine and Julie Wersebe; great grandchildren, Aiden and Benjamin Richards.
She was predeceased by two sisters and one brother.
Visitation will be 911 a.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St., Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY 12520.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, 340 Hudson st Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. Burial to follow in St. Thomas Cemetery in Cornwall, NY
