William O. “Wink” Kane of New Windsor entered into rest on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at his home. He was 71.
The son of the late William and Frieda Becker Kane, he was born on July 25, 1939 in West Point, NY.
Wink was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of Black Rock Fish and Game Club and the Highland Falls Rifle Team.
Survivors include his wife Linda at home; daughter Jean Deal and husband Rick of Stuart, FL; son Ronald Kane and wife Louise of Walden; granddaughter Natalie Deal; sister Patricia Thibodeau and husband Douglas of Cornwall-on-Hudson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 28 at James F. Lulves Funeral Home, 9 Avenue A, Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY. Funeral Services will be held at 11am at the funeral home following visitation. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, New Windsor, NY.
