Kenneth DeKay died on October 23, 2010 at the age of 85.
He was born in Florida, N.Y. on October 13, 1925 the son of the late Clarence Peter DeKay and Elizabeth Durkee Vail.
He was a graduate of Newburgh Free Academy Class of 1941 and a graduate of New York University. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. Kenneth was an instructor
at Orange County Community College and he also taught at Renssalaer Polytechnic Institute and he was mediator for the State of New York.
Ken is survived by his wife Agnes Jurasinski at home whom he married on February 18, 1951 in Christ Lutheran Church, Newburgh N.Y. He is also survived by his brother Richard DeKay of Cornwall, N.Y. He was predeceased by his brother Donald Vail DeKay.
After cremation a private service was held in the DeKay Family Plot in Florida Cemetery, Florida, N.Y.
