Obituaries: Claire G. Miksinski

Claire G. Miksinski, of Cornwall, NY entered into rest on Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010 at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Cornwall Campus. She was 85.
The daughter of the late Michael T. and Eleanor Dunn Bennett she was born on May 12, 1925 in Newburgh. She was the widow of the late Frank Miksinski. Claire was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Survivors include: daughters Joyce Blasko and husband Edward of Cornwall, and Beverly Willis and husband Anthony of Coeburn, VA; sister Joan E. Heggarty of Cornwall-on-Hudson; several grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Anthony Miksinski.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 21 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at James F. Lulves Funeral Home, Inc., 9 Avenue A, Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, Dec. 22 at 10:00am at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, Hudson St., Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Claire’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
