Salvatore Polizzi, 77, of Marlboro NY entered in the presence of his Savior on December 13, 2010 in St. Lukes Cornwall Hospital Newburgh NY. He had worked for the Dept. of Engineering and Housing with USMA, West Point.
The son of Dominick Polizzi and Mary Giambrone Polizzi, he was born September 12, 1933, in Brooklyn NY. He was married to Dorothy Work Polizzi.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Work Polizzi, at home; a son, Thomas David Polizzi of Marlboro; two grandchildren, Nicholas Cody Polizzi and Thomas Michael Polizzi.
Salvatore attended the Cornwall Baptist Church, Cornwall NY.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 16, at the Cornwall Baptist Church, 213 Main St., Cornwall, NY; 845-534-3335. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. at the church on Friday, December 17. Burial will follow the Service in Cornwall Baptist Cemetery Orrs Mill Rd. Cornwall NY.
