Grace A. Scally (nee Donovan) of Cornwall (formerly of the Inwood section of Manhattan) entered into rest on August 10, 2010. She died peacefully in her sleep at home. She was born in New York City on May 12, 1925.
Grace is survived by her husband of 63 years, Lawrence, two daughters, Helen Velez and her husband, Harry, of Cornwall and Patti Nicoletti and her husband, Jim, of Lynbrook, N.Y. and two sons, Lawrence and his wife, Theresa, of Cortland Manor, N.Y. and Brian and his wife, Marguerite, of Irvington, N.Y. Grace was a loving grandmother to her ten granchildren: Jason, Kristen, Lauren, Kyra, Jack, Kate, Emma, Brian, Connor, and Meegan. Grace was also blessed with four great-grandchildren: Diego, Oliver, Ava and Jake.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 12, 2010 held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Quigley Brothers Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St., Cornwall-On-Hudson.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 13, at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, 340 Hudson St., Cornwall-on-Hudson. For directions or condolences please go to www.quigleybros.com
