Beverly A. Whyte of Cornwall, NY, went home to Glory on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at her home. She was 66.
Born on November 20, 1943 in Bronxville, NY, she was the daughter of the late David and Nelia Cocks Whyte.
Beverly taught math in the Eastchester School District. She was a master at writing beautiful poetry and creating wordsearch puzzles.
She enjoyed annual trips to Bermuda and frequent visits to Mohonk Mountain House. What she enjoyed most was being a hostess and entertaining her family and friends.
Survivors include: her “adopted” brother Bill Zoldak of Oxford, MA; three nieces and two nephews of Michigan; Liz, Nelia, Robert, Cindy and Peter; several grandnieces and grandnephews and many much-loved cousins, including several in Cornwall in the Lewis and Cowton families.
Beverly was predeceased by her sister Susan.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 22 from 5-8pm at James F. Lulves Funeral Home, Inc., 9 Avenue A, Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 23 at 11:00am at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Cornwall Friends Cemetery, Cornwall, NY.
The family hopes that the service will be a celebration of Bev’s life and her joyous homegoing.
