Paul Capone, 89, of Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY, a retired supervisor with Lightron Corp in New Windsor, NY, died Sunday, May 2, 2010, at St. Lukes Cornwall Hospital in Cornwall, NY.
The son of Dominick Capone and Rose Graziano, he was born September 17, 1920 in Brooklyn, NY. He was the husband of Anne Marie Venezia Capone.
Survivors include his wife, Anne Marie Venezia Capone, at home; son, Stephen Capone, of Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY; and a daughter, Daria Capone, of Long Island. He was predeceased by brother, Nick Capone and sister. Genieve Mink.
Paul was a member of St. Thomas of Canterbury Church in Cornwall-On-Hudson, IBEW Local 3, NYNY, and he served in World War II from 1941-45.
Family statement reads: A wonderful devoted husband, father, brother and uncle.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Wednesday, May 5, 2010, at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St., Cornwall–on-Hudson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Thursday, May 6, at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, Cornwall-on-Hudson NY. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Cornwall, NY.
