Audrey Alice Johnston of Mountainville, entered into rest on April 27, 2010 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Horton Campus in Middletown, NY. She was 77.
The daughter of Arthur Swenson and Alice Hoecke Swenson, she was born July 24, 1932 in Queens. She is the widow of Robert Johnston.
Audrey served in the U.S. Air Force from 1956-58. She was a retired Home Health Aide, and a member of the Cornwall Baptist Church in Cornwall.
Survivors include her daughter, Pamela Johnston of Bristol, RI; sisters: Joyce McNulty of Naples, FL, Grace Brauman of Lunas, NM, and Edith Raevis of Bayshore; grandchildren: Erik Potter of Mountainville, Mark Potter of Poughkeepsie, Charlie Seigal of Rhode Island, Emily & Elliott Johnston, both of California; great-grandchildren: Emily, Mark and Luke Potter. She was predeceased by a daughter, Roberta Johnston.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, May 3, at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St., Cornwall–on-Hudson.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 4, at the Cornwall Baptist Church, 313 Main St., Cornwall, with Pastor Stephen Racite officiating. Burial will follow in Cornwall Baptist Cemetery, Cornwall, with military honors.
