Donald M. (Mike) Rock, age 56, of Mountainville, New York, passed away on April 26, 2010, at home.
Rock was a heavy equipment operator with Highview Estates Inc. in Washingtonville, NY.
He was born on November 22, 1953, the son of Alfred Clifford Rock and Mary Margaret Prentiss McKinney.
He is survived by his mother, Mary M. Prentiss McKinney, at home; his partner, Laurel McElroy, and family at home; a sister, Mary R. Creech, of Quincy, MA,; a niece: Blair C. O’Conner and nephew Michael M. Creech, as well as by grand niece and nephews and his faithful dog, Lucy.
Family statement: In the end, it’s not the years in your life, it’s the life in your years. Love you bunches.
There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be announced. Arrangements under the direction of Kevin Quigley of Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson Street, Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY 12520.
