Leigh Anne Stewart of Cornwall-on-Hudson entered into rest on Thursday, April 15, 2010, at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh campus. She was 46.
The daughter of Maria Cappella Stewart and the late Malcolm J. Stewart she was born on July 26, 1963 in Cornwall.
“Our Angel on Earth is now an Angel in Heaven”. Leigh Anne enjoyed swimming, doing word puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and traveling. She loved her work at Occupations, Inc. and all of her friends there. Leigh Anne also loved being an Auntie to her nephew, Benjamin.
Survivors include her mother, Maria Stewart, at home; her beloved brother Scott Stewart of Cornwall-on-Hudson and his partner, Daniel Santiago; and her beloved nephew, Benjamin Santiago-Stewart.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 18 at 1:30 pm at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 66 Clinton St., Cornwall, NY. A Requiem Mass followed at 2:30 pm. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
