MONDAY 7/6/20
6:00 PM - Dog Tales
Read virtually to a furry friend from Hudson Valley Paws for a Cause. Grades K-12. Please register for a 15-minute time slot — 6:00, 6:15, or 6:45 via the library’s online calendar. Registration begins one week prior to the event and a Zoom link will be emailed to registrants the day of the event.

WEDNESDAY 7/8/20
4:00 PM - Teen Writers Strike Back on Zoom
For grades 8-12. You must pre-register for the program here. Zoom links will be sent to registrants the day of the event.

6:30 PM - The Lawyer is ‘IN’
Join us for a virtual Zoom presentation on a discussion on individual rights in various situations followed by a Q&A including: navigating falls, trips, slips, automobile & bicycle accidents, dog bites and a host of negligence issues. Andrew Finkelstein will present on a variety of personal injury issues with the focus on keeping you protected. Zoom links will be sent to registrants the day of the event.

THURSDAY 7/9/20
10:00 AM - Shakespeare Out Loud (1st session)
Although a joy to read in silence, Shakespeare’s work was written to be spoken out loud. Facilitated by local actor, Aaron Gaines. Speeches and scenes will be provided, though please feel free to bring your own. All experience levels welcome. This program will be conducted via Zoom. Please register via the library’s online calendar. Zoom links and passwords will be sent to registrants the day of the program.

1:00 PM -Understanding Shakespeare (1st session)
Let’s make Shakespeare make sense! Participants will gain a better understanding of Shakespeare’s poetry, characters, and stories. Facilitated by local actor, Aaron Gaines. Speeches and scenes will be provided, though please feel free to bring your own. All experience levels welcome. This program will be conducted via Zoom. 11:00 AM Story Break Live!
Think you’re too old for a children’s book? The library’s Youth Services Team begs to disagree! Celebrate TGIF with a familiar library face and a good story. You can catch these live events on our Facebook page every Friday morning at 11am, through the summer. Tune in and tell your friends!
