Mary Czumak, of Cornwall, N.Y., died on December 12, 2009 at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital. She was 85 years old.
A homemaker, Czumak was born on June 24, 1924, in Waterlook, IA., the daughter of Costa Koumentos and Winifred Skyles. She was married to the late Frank Raymond Czumak who passed away in February 1972.
She is survived by her sons: Frank Czumak, of Jacksonville, FL.; Robert Czumak, of Salisbury Mills, NY; Stephen Czumak, of CT.; Raymond Czumak, of Cornwall, NY; Walter Czumak, of Simpsonville, SC; and James Czumak, of Merritt Island, FL; Daughters: Kathy Sheehan, of Cornwall, NY and Antoinette Klein, of Olean, NY; 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 pm on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St. Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY, 12520
The funeral service will be a Mass at 10 am on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 19 Fullerton Ave., Newburgh, NY . Burial to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Washingtonville, NY.
