Betty R. Barnes of Edgewater, Fl. and formerly of Cornwall, N.Y. entered into rest on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at home. She was 87.
She was a member of Cornwall Baptist Church and the owner of Betty’s Beauty Shop in Cornwall.
Survivors include her husband Charles E. Barnes; two sons: Larry Barnes of Cornwall and Garry Barnes of Marlboro; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at James F. Lulves Funeral Home, Inc., 9 Avenue A, Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y., followed by funeral services. Interment in Orange Co. Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Goshen, NY.
In lieu of flowers donations in Betty’s memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
