Monday, October 19
12:08 p.m. Police issue a ticket on Hudson Street to a 20-year-old female driver from New Windsor.
4:31 p.m. Police assist town police with suspects at a restaurant on Route 9W.
7:20 p.m. Police investigate a reported larceny of a push scooter from a resident on Payson Road. Scooter is later located behind the residence.
Tuesday, October 20
1:09 a.m. Police investigate a possible break-in of a vehicle parked at a residence on Paula Court.
Wednesday, October 21
No summonses or arrests.
Thursday, October 22
6:57 a.m. Police issue a traffic ticket on Hudson Street to a 19-year-old female from Scranton.
5:10 p.m. A citizen finds an American Express card on Hudson Street, turn it in to the police, who returns it to owner.
Friday, October 23
2:04 a.m. Police issue a traffic ticket on Idlewild Avenue to a 20-year-old male from Newburgh.
8:54 a.m. Police issue a traffic ticket n Hudson Street to a 49-year-old male from Highland Falls.
9:18 a.m. Police issue a traffic ticket on Hudson Street to a 51-year-old male from Cornwall.
9:37 a.m. Police issue a traffic ticket on Hudson Street to a 23-year-old female from Cornwall-on-Hudson.
9:39 a.m. Police take a report of an identity theft in which more than $10,000 was fraudulently withdrawn from the victim’s bank account.
2:19 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket on Hudson Street to a 37-year-old female from Cornwall-on-Hudson.
2:48 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket on Hudson Street to a 42-year-old male from Florida.
4:36 p.m. Police issue a ticket for failure to stop at a stop sign at Spruce St. and River Avenue.
Saturday, October 24
7:30 a.m. A police vehicle got a flat tire after hit a large rock in the roadway on Dock Hill Road.
4:46 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket on Hudson Street to an 18-year-old male from Cornwall.
11:29 p.m. Police investigate a vehicle found abandoned and partly submerged in the Hudson River. (see story)
Sunday, October 25
1:44 a.m. Police respond to a report of criminal mischief to a vehicle on Hudson Street. The vehicle’s driver’s side window had been broken and the driver’s side tire was flat.
4:30 a.m. Police issue ticket to two vehicles parked at the riverfront without permits.
9:42 a.m. Police investigate a report of a hit-and-run accident that damaged a vehicle parked on Idlewild Avenue.
10:17 a.m. Police speak with the leader of a group of 75 to 100 Audis that witness reported were driving recklessly on Hudson Street before coming down to the riverfront. The Audis then continued along Route 218 with an escort assist from town police units.
1:50 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket on Route 218 to a 27-year-old male from Newburgh.
2:11 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket on Route 218 to a 50-year-old male from Fort Montgomery.
3:42- 4:24 p.m.Police issue parking tickets to three vehicles parked at the riverfront without a permit.
4:50 p.m. Police issue a ticket in the village square to a 72-year-old male from Newburgh.
4:51 p.m. Police respond to a husband-wife domestic dispute.
