Steve Newton Cochrane, 57, of Cornwal,l NY, a technical supervisor and associate designer for live theatrical shows and events in New York City & Internationally, died Friday, July 3, 2009 at Kaplan Family Hospice, Newburgh, NY, surrounded by his family.
The son of William Newton Cochrane and Helen Ruth Kelly Cochrane, he was born January 12, 1952 in Charlotte, NC.
He was a member of I.A.T.S.E, of N.Y.C. and St. John's Episcopal Church choir in Cornwall, NY.
Survivors include his wife, Frances (Sis) Obidowski at home; his daughters, Rachel Kelly Cochrane of Northern Virginia and Elizabeth Banks Cochrane of Cornwall NY; his mother Helen Kelly Cochrane of Charlotte NC, brother, Scott Cochrane and his wife, Kelly of Tampa FL; sister, Stephanie Smith and her husband, Butch of Charlotte NC; brother-in-law, Andrew Obidowski and his wife, Susan of Pittsburgh PA; all his nieces and nephew.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2009, at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St., Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY 12520
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2009 at St. John's Episcopal Church, 66 Clinton St., Cornwall, NY 12518
