Obituaries: Lucille Marie ("Pidge") Cox

Lucille Marie (“Pidge”) Cox passed away peacefully on Friday, May 22, 2009, at her home at Blue Star Farm Road, Cornwall, NY. She was 90 years old.
Lucille was born to Grover and Gladys Bailey Cox in West Grove, Highland Falls, NY.
She was a graduate of Highland Falls High School and Spencerian Business School.
After graduation she was employed by West Point Military Academy as a secretary with the quarter master division. During the 50’s, she was part owner of Clark’s Auto Repair Service that later evolved into RJ Clark & Son Construction Company. In her spare time during the 50’s she was a Den Mother with the local cub scouts.
Lucille is survived by her loving daughter, Betsy Clark, at home, and son, Wayne Clark and his wife, Cam, in Jupiter, Florida.
Lucille was a lifetime member of the G&M Riding Club of Orange County. She served on the Board of Directors for more than a decade and was Pointskeeper for all events.

Friends may call Saturday, May 30, 2009, from 10am to noon at Quigley Bros Funeral Home, 337 Hudson Street, Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY or join her family and friends afterward at Blue Star Farm.
