Obituaries: Richard Allen Ceely

Richard Allen Ceely, age 61, of Brandywine, WV, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2009 at his residence.
Mr. Ceely was born in Cornwall, NY on April 11, 1947, the son of the late Frank Henry and Laura Ada Judson Ceely. Richard is survived by his wife, Michelina Mary "Mickie" Daddrio, whom he married on April 24, 1966.
He retired as a Lt. Commander from the U.S. Navy after 25 years of service. He was also employed for 18 years at Honeywell Technologies. Mr. Ceely was a graduate of Cornwall High School in New York, graduated Mount St. Mary's College, and attended Living Faith Church.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Ceely is survived by a daughter, Nicole Hevener and husband, John of Franklin, WV; son, Richard Ceely and wife, Crystal of Franklin, WV; two brothers, Edward Leroy Ceely of Plattekill, NY and Francis George Ceely of San Jose, CA; five grandchildren: Amber Ceely Bogenrife of London, OH, Brooke Hevener, Daniel Hevener, Timothy Hevener and Kiersten Ceely, all of Franklin, WV. Richard was preceded in death by an infant sister.
His life was remembered in a celebration of life service on April 10 when he received Military Honors provided by the U.S. Naval Base in Sugar Grove.
