Carol Ann Krafft, age 76, of Mountainville, N.Y., died on March 8, 2009, at Westchester Medical Center in Mt. Pleasant, N.Y.
Mrs. Krafft was married to the late Charles G. Krafft, who passed away in 2002. A retired school teacher with the Newburgh Enlarged School District, she was born on February 12, 1933, in Newburgh, N.Y. Her parents were Joseph Robinson and Grace Partridge Robinson.
She was a member of King of Kings Church in New Windsor, N.Y., a past member of the Mountainville Engine Co. Ladies Auxiliary, Friends of the Library, Cornwall, N.Y., Literacy Volunteers Inc. at the Newburgh Library, Pleasant Hill Cemetery Assoc., Mountainville, N.Y., and a 2nd generation owner of the Mountainville Manor Catering in Mountainville, N.Y. She was also a member of the Orange County Republican and Town Committee and the Cornwall Republican Club, where she served as treasurer.
She is survived by sons: David Krafft and Anna Brooks of Mountainville, N.Y., Richard C. Krafft and
his wife, Kimberly, of New Hampshire and Paul J. Krafft and his wife, Lindy, of Mountainville, N.Y.; a brother–in-law, Joseph Thomson, of Mountainville, N.Y.; grandchildren: Jessica , Aimee and Robyn Krafft and Nicholas, Matthew and Ryan Krafft; nieces: MaryLynn Conklin, Barbara Previdi and Jo-Ann Thomson.
She was predeceased by a brother, Bud Robinson, a sister, Marion Duquette, and a sister–in-law, Rose Thomson.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2009, at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St., Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y. 12520.
A funeral Service will be at King of Kings Lutheran Church, Union Ave., New Windsor, N.Y. at 10 a.m. on Friday, March13, 2009, with Pastor Roldano Auguste
Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Mountainville, N.Y.
