Dorothy M. Doehla, of New Windsor, passed away on February 24, 2009. She was 81-years-old.
Mrs. Doehla was a retired secretary with the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y. She was born on February 19, 1928, in Mamaroneck, N.Y., the daughter of Adolph Munter and Wihelmina Luckx Munter.
She is survived by sons: Paul V. Doehla, of Salisbury Mills, N.Y., Kurt Doehla and his wife, Sharon, of Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y.; daughters: Leslie Brannon, of Dallas, TX., Donna Brown and her husband, Timothy, of Newburgh, N.Y., Karen Gordon and her husband, Scott, of Simsbury, CT.; one sister, Bertha Evangelist and her husband, John of Pompano Beach, Fl.; a companion, Robert LaFrentz, 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by brothers Andrew and Carl Munter and a sister, Olga Tompkins.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 27, 2009 at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St. Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y. 12520.
FUNERAL SERVICE: 10 a.m., Saturday, February 28, 2009 at King of Kings Church, Union Ave., New Windsor, NY, 12553. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery in Cornwall, N.Y.
