Dorothy M. Pinder , age 87, of Cornwall, N.Y., died on January 28, 2009, in Phoenix, AZ.
Mrs. Pinder retired from Sears in Newburgh and Wappingers where she worked in the management office in 1984. She was married to the late William L. Pinder, who passed away on February 5, 2004.
She was the daughter of Thomas Hills and Mary Bennet Hills, born on March 16, 1921, in Newburgh, N.Y.
She is survived by sons: William T. Pinder and his wife, Linda, of Goodyear, AZ. and Cornwall, N.Y., Robert J. Pinder and his wife, Karen, of Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y. , and Thomas G. Pinder, of Pine Bush, N.Y.; a sister, Elizabeth Barry of Newburgh, N.Y. ; five grandchildren: Sheri Gilbreth, Suzanne Vallillo, Michele Sprueill, Jackie Pinder and Seth Pinder; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, February 8, 2009, at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home at 337 Hudson Street, Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, February 9, 2009, at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church – Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y. Burial to follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Cornwall, N.Y.
