Joshua Paul Roma, 29, of New Windsor, passed away on January 16, 2009, at Orange Regional Hospital in Goshen, N.Y. after a long illness.
Roma was born on September 11, 1979, in Goshen, N.Y., the son of Jeffrey P. Roma and Kathleen M. Lynch Roma.
He is survived by his parents, at home; grandparents Joan C. Harmon, of New Windsor, and Howard P. Roma, of Chicago, Il.; brothers Justin P. Roma, of Washingtonville, N.Y., Jason, P. Roma, of Salisbury Mills, N.Y., Jeffrey P. Roma, at home; sister: Gina Marie Roma, at home and many uncles and great uncles and aunts. He was predeceased by grandparents Fred and Maryann Lynch and a cousin, Michael Lynch.
Roma was a member of the Light House for the Blind.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, January 20, at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St. Cornwall –On-Hudson, N.Y. 12520.
The funeral service will be a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Wednsday, January 21, 2009, at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church in Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y. Burial will follow the Mass in Eagle Valley Cemetery in the Town of Highlands, N.Y.
