Tom Doyle took his camera and went up to Black Rock Forest on Friday morning after the ice storm that blanketed the mountains overnight.
Doyle found Continental Road blocked in several places by fallen trees but he says that forest manager John Brady and fellow employee Matt Munson were out with chain saws early and re-opened the road.
Here are two of Doyle's photos. The first one is of the Upper Reservoir. The second is of a fallen tree that had been blocking the road.
