Carl G. Friberg, 57, of New Windsor, N.Y., died at home on November 16, 2008.
He was married to Susan Cohen Friberg and was a plumber with Local 2 in New York, N.Y.
Friberg was born on November 20, 1950, in Tarrytown, N.Y., the son of Enar Henning Friberg and Dagmar Nordling. He was a trustee with the People’s Regular Baptist Church, in Maybrook, N.Y., and the Grafnecker Award for the highest grades in the four-year apprenticeship program.
He is survivied by his wife, Susan Cohen Friberg, of New Windsor, N.Y., parents Enar Henning Friberg, of Brewster, N.Y. and Dagmar Roman, of Glen Spey, N.Y.; children: Orin Sarabia, of the Bronx, N.Y.,, Jason Sarabia, of the Bronx, N.Y., Carl Friberg, Jr.. and Sarajane Larkin, both of New Windsor, N.Y.; a brother, Enar H. Friberg Jr., of New Windsor, N.Y.; sister:, Sonia Friberg, of Glen Spey, N.Y.; grandchildren: Cody Sarabia, Carmelo R. Torres and Eowyn R. Larkin. He was predeceased by a brother, Roy Peter Friberg.
Visitation: 6 to 9 p.m., Sunday 10/19/2008, at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St. Cornwall –on-Hudson, N.Y. 12520
Funeral Service at 10 a.m., Monday, 10/20/2008 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Glen Spey Cemetery in Lumberland, N.Y.
