Victor P. Johnson Jr., 81, of Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y., died on June 13, 2008, in Newburyport, MA.
Mr. Johnson was a retired salesman with Automotive Brake of Newburgh, N.Y. He was a member of the Storm King Fire Engine Company #2 for 53 years, and the SKFE #2 Benevolent Associated where he served as Past Chief.
Johnson was born in Cornwall, N.Y., on February 21, 1927, the son of Victor P. and Estella Kane Johnson. He was predeceased by his wife, the late Mildred E. Johnson. He
He is survived by sons James Barry Johnson, of Newburyport, Ma., and Victor P. Johnson III, of Az., by daughters Jana Lee Arnold, of Shell-Kanob, MO., Valerie Ann Johnson, of OK., brothers Robert Johnson, of Fl., Eddie Mac Johnson, and Steven Johnson, both of Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y., and a sister, Margaret Strom, of Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y., as well as by grandchildren: Justin, James, and Sierra Johnson, Ronnie and Victor IV, Natalie, Mildred and Mercedes Johnson.
He was predeceased by brothers: William, Thomas, & John Johnson.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson Street, Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y. 12520.
Burial will be in George Washington Memorial Park, in Paramus, N.J. on Thursday, at 10:30 a.m.
