Edna Mae Pelus, 91, of Montgomery, N.Y., passed away on May 24, 2008 at home.
Mrs. Pelus was the widow of the late Joseph P. Pelus, who passed away 1991. She was a retired employee of the Firth Carpet mill In Cornwall, N.Y.
She was born on August 11, 1916 in New Windsor, N.Y., the daughter of William Post and Anna Schultz Post.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and -nephews, great-great-nieces and -nephews, and one goddaughter. She was predeceased brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Pelus was a former member of Vails Gate Methodost Church in Vails Gate, N.Y.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday May 27, 2008 at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson NY 12520
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 27 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in New Windsor, N.Y.
