Doris Rachel Evans, age 93, formerly of Cornwall, died in Hamptonburgh, N.Y., on April 19, 2008.
Doris Evans was the widow of the late Paul Evans and she was retired from the billing department of Cornwall hospital.
Evans was born on December 12, 1914, in Albany, N.Y., the daughter of John Wood and Margaret Doll Wood.
She is survived by her daughters: Judy Miller, of Newburgh, N.Y., Paula Eddie and her husband, Rod, of Cornwall, N.Y., Pam Napoli and her husband, Bill Thorpe, of Rock Tavern, N.Y.; her brother, Donald Wood, of Walden, N.Y.; a sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Schirmer, of Vermont; grandchildren: Billy Miller, Rachael Staples, Heath Eddie, Rori Herbison, and Michael Napoli Jr,; Great-grandchildren: Billy Martin, Sara, Kaitlyn, Jimmy, Madison, Rae, and Harlee, and several nieces and nephews .
No public visitation and the funeral service will be private.
