Marion S. Graefe, a homemaker and resident of Cornwall, N.Y., entered into rest on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, 2008, at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, in Newburgh, N.Y. She was 91 years old.
The daughter of John J. Sullivan and Bertha Sambach Sullivan, she was born on December. 5, 1916, in New York City. Marion was the widow of Martin Graefe. She was predeceased by her sisters Dorothy Fitzsimons and Muriel Cassidy and brother Jack Sullivan.
Marion is survived by: her brother Vincent T. Sullivan and his wife, Pat, of Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y., 11 nieces & nephews and many great-nieces and nephews.
She grew up in Westchester County and graduated from Our Lady of Good Counsel College in White Plains, N.Y. Marion was a member of St. Thomas of Canterbury Church in Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y.
There will be a memorial service in the near future. Arrangements are under the care of Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, in Cornwall–on-Hudson, N.Y.
