Jonathan Dunaief was driving along Route 9W when he captured these amazing shots.
He says he took the photos on the afternoon of March 14 at 5:30 p.m. when he pulled over at the lookout to see the rainbow over West Point.
"There were so many cars pulling over to see the rainbow, I thought there was going to be an accident," Dunief writes. "Everyone pulled out their cell phone cameras to try to capture this amazing image that lasted about three minutes. I was lucky enough to have my Nikon D80 with me."
The first photo looks down on the campus of the US Military Academy where you can find a double rainbow. The others are self-explanatory.
