Roger Joseph Hassler, 61, of Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y., died in Newburgh, N.Y., on March 13, 2008.
He was employed at the Department of Cadet Activities, U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
Hassler was born on April 18, 1946, in Newburgh, N.Y., the son of Joseph Hassler and Mary Anderson Hassler.
He is survived by one sister, Joanne Wilcox and her husband, John, of the Town of Newburgh, two nieces, Mary Smith and her husband, James, and Susan Haupt and husband, Peter, one nephew, Gregory Wilcox and his wife, Billie Sue, as well as five great-nieces and nephews.
There is no public visitation.
Funeral service will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 9AM Saturday, 3/15/08, at St. Mary’s Church, 180 South St., Newburgh, N.Y.
Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery in Cornwall, N.Y.
