Obituaries: Obituary: Arthur F. Weygant

Arthur F. Weygant, 89 years-old, of Hickory, N.C., formerly of Cornwall, N.Y., died on January 31, 2008, in Hickory, N.C.

Weygant was the husband of the late Margaret M. Weygant, who passed away on October 31, 2005.   He was a retired maintenance employee of ShopRite Co. of Vail’s Gate, N.Y.

Weygant was born on October 19, 1918, in Newburgh, N.Y., the son of Charles and Amerlia Carroll Weygant.  

He is survived by six sons: Dave Weygant, of Greenwich, N.Y., Kevin Weygant and  his wife, Annette, of  Port Jervis, N.Y., Arthur F. Weygant and his wife, Angie, of  Garden City, S.C., Ronald Weygant, of  Newburgh, Allen Weygant and his wife, Donna, of N.C.,  and Michael Weygant and his wife, Miriam,  of Mustang, OK.

He is also survived by his daughters: Debra Scott and her husband, Jeffrey, of Fl., Carol Richmond and her  husband, Ted, of  N.C., Marjie Rowe and her  husband, Johnnie, of Alpharetta, Ga. and  28 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.  

Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at Solid Rock Church of God., Rte 32 Cornwall, N.Y.  where the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m.
   
Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, in New Windsor, N.Y.
