Rose K. Thomson, 71, of Mountainville, New York, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2007, at her home.
Mrs. Thomson, who was married to Judge Joseph L. Thomson for 50 years, was a retired school teacher with the Newburgh School District.
She was a member of St. Thomas of Canterbury Church in Cornwall-on-Hudson, and a member of the Newburgh Teachers Association., the New York State Unified Teachers Association, and a Charter member of Mountainville Eng. Co #3 Ladies Auxiliary. She was a trustee of the Pleasant Hill Cemetery Association in Mountainville and of the Cornwall Republican Club, a former member of Cornwall Garden Club & a trustee of the Cornwall Library as well as a former member of the Oblates Mission in Balmville .
Mrs. Thomas was born of October 1, 1936, in the Bronx, New York, the daughter of Charles Krafft and Rose Hommel Krafft.
She is survived by her husband and three daughters: Mary Lynn Conklin, of Mountanville, N.Y., Barbara Previdi and her husband Robert, of Philadelphia, PA., and Joann Thomson, of Mountainville N.Y., as well as by her grandchildren: Casey and Patrick Conklin, and Joseph and William Previdi.
She was predeceased by her brother Charles G. Krafft
A funeral service was held at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church on Saturday, November 2, 2007 and burial at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Mountainville, N.Y.
