01/09/23 Police assist Town Police with locating a 5 year old missing boy.
01/10/23 Police, NW Ambulance and Fire Dept respond for a stove fire and a female with burns to her hands.
01/11/23 Police found a loose Pit bull running on Payson Rd who returned to his home and ran in through the door. The owner told Police that the dog knows how to open the door. Police told the dog owners get a dog proof handle on the door.
01/11/23 A caller stated that she could smell marijuana coming from a home. Police advised the caller that marijuana is now legal in NY state.
01/12/23 Police take a report of a two vehicle accident with property damage.
01/13/23 Police put caution tape up on Deer Hill rd. for a fallen tree in the roadway and contact Town of Cornwall DPW.
01/13/23 Police assist with a vehicle lockout.
01/15/23 Police responded to Shore Rd for a report of a train that struck a bicycle that was left on the tracks.
01/16/23 A subject came in to Police to report that she received her neighbor’s delivery She attempted to deliver the package to her neighbor, but her neighbor requested that she bring the package to the Police department.
01/16/23 Police assist Town Police with a motor vehicle accident. A car ran into the Cadet Motel building on 9W.
01/17/23 Police receive a call about a suspicious male looking through the woods at River Ave. on a mountain bike. Police located a male who said he was just walking through the woods and on bike paths he usually takes.
01/19/23 Police receive a call about a ginormous rock in the middle of Mountain Rd and remove the rock.
01/20/23 Police give a verbal warning to a driver with a brake light out.
01/20/23 Police respond to Boulevard for a report of 2 loose huskies on a property. Dogs transported to SPCA in New Windsor.
01/22/23 Police and Fire Dept responded to Partridge Rd for a chimney fire.
