Incidents

Police issue approximately 11 warnings and 8 summonses to drivers including tickets issued for no parking permits.
04/19/22 Police and Fire Dept respond to a water flow alarm on Shore Rd.
04/20/22 Police and Fire Dept respond to Hudson St. to pump out 4” of water out of a basement.
04/21/22 A resident found a camera at Donahue park and dropped it off at the Police station to be placed in the lost and found.
04/22/22 A pilot reported to FAA that someone the COH waterfront pointed a green laser at the aircraft.
04/23/22 Police assist a driver with a vehicle lockout.
04/25/22 A subject reported suspicious activity reported on Grandview Ave. It was the son of the resident that lived there.
04/27/22 A resident conducting an open burn on Cornwall Ave. was advised of the burn ban until May 15.
05/03/22 A resident from Andrews St. reported a suspicious man driving by with a loud muffler.
05/03/22 DPW found an iPhone and turned in to Police. Police located owner of phone.
05/03/22 A resident received mail that appeared to be fraudulent.
05/04/22 A resident on Payson Rd. reported that someone dumped her leaves out of bags and took the bags.
05/04/22 A caller picked up a hitchhiker and reported to Police that he was concerned because the hitchhiker said he would become famous one day. The Police contacted the hitchhiker and he said he is going to be a famous boxer one day nothing more nothing less.
05/04/22 A caller came in to the Police station to report that someone in a white jeep took a picture of his house then drove away.
05/07/22 A caller reported a possible intoxicated boater at the boat launch. The boater was having engine problems.
05/09/22 Police assist Town Police with a male that was assaulted.
05/11/22 Police respond to Mountain Rd. for a minor vehicle accident, no injuries.
05/11/22 Police respond to Hudson St. for a minor vehicle accident, no injuries.
05/11/22 A resident that someone in a white truck was driving too fast on Meadow Ave.
05/14/22 A caller said that someone was throwing metal into a truck at Village Auto. Police respond and find that the owner gave permission to the person picking up the metal.
05/14/22 A caller saw a subject remove one of the fox decoys down at the riverfront and that it was the same person who stole the fox’s tail on May 13.
05/14/22 An unknown white male approx 5’10” short gray hair with glasses approx 40 yrs old was collecting money from people to park at the riverfront. Victim and others at riverfront said they each paid the man $5.
05/14/22 Police respond to a vehicle accident. A car was sideswiped in a parking lot.
05/14/22 A caller reported that there were no parking spots left at the waterfront and was advised to call the village on Monday.
