Incidents

03/07/22 Police respond to Cumberland Farms for a report of criminal mischief. Security cameras showed teens painting graffiti on the building. Parents were notified and no charges were filed against the teens.
03/07/22 A caller reported that a truck came into his driveway and damaged his lawn.
03/07/22 Police issue 3 summonses for an abandoned vehicle on Deer Hill Rd.
03/07/22 Police respond to Enterprise car rental for a customer refusing to leave. The customer was upset because a vehicle he rented had the license plates stolen and he now has over $4k in toll charges on his credit card.
03/07/22 Police respond to Pleasant Hill Rd for a tree down in the roadway and Central Hudson was notified as well.
03/08/22 Someone turned in a found wallet to Prima Pizza and Police returned the wallet to its owner.
03/09/22 Someone posted illegal no parking signs on Main St.
03/10/22 A resident reported a broken vehicle window and other damage caused by a Town plow truck.
03/14/22 Car keys were left at Hazards Pharmacy and Police were able to utilize the Library card and assistance of the Library to locate the owner.
03/15/22 Police assist with a motor vehicle accident on Rt 9W.
03/15/22 A warning was left on a vehicle parked in the wrong direction.
03/17/22 Police dispatch an injured animal humanely on Cherry Ave.
03/21/22 A caller reported that in an applicant interview they conducted with a subject, the subject presented possible false identification. The subject claimed to be a criminal investigator.
03/21/22 Police and Fire Dept respond to Station Rd for a fire in a wood pallet started by a burn barrel.
03/25/22 A caller received a call from someone claiming that they were Jason Riley with Cornwall Police and that he owed an outstanding court fee. The caller was advised to purchase over $4k in gift cards. The caller went to the Police station to verify if the office was actually there.
