Arrests
04/24/21 Angel Bello-Mejia, age 34, of Highland Mills, NY was arrested and charged with DWI-felony, D.W.I. charge and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the first degree.

04/20/21 A caller report trespassers to a property under construction.
04/21/21 A subject filed a complaint of fraud. An unknown person attempted to get unemployment benefits under his name.
04/21/21 Police respond to Shore Rd for trees down.
04/21/21 Police respond to Quaker Ave for a civil dispute matter involving damage to a vehicle windshield.
04/21/21 Police notified by Woodbury Police that a white Nissan Murano with extensive passenger side damage fled north bound on Rt 32.
04/21/21 Police respond to Rt 9W for a transformer fire and large tree blocking Quaker Ave.
04/22/21Several reports taken and a report followed up on regarding identity theft and unemployment fraud.
04/24/21 Police dispatch an injured deer humanely Pleasant Hill Rd.
04/25/21 Police and New Windsor Police respond to a call about several subjects taking items from a store and heading towards New Windsor. The subjects were located in a black Honda Accord with temporary tags on Cesars Lane.
04/27/21 Police respond to the golf course for a report of 8 kids driving around golf carts. The kids took the carts and were driving around. The kids emptied a fire extinguisher and a gas can.
They also had spray paint , empty pill bottles and marijuana on them. Garage at golf course was secured and parents of the children were called to pick them up.
05/01/21 Police found 2 kids on the roof of the skating shelter next to the pond. They were turned over to their father who was at the baseball field.
05/01/21 A subject reported raid and reported getting unknown insurance cards sent to her address and her husband received a notice that someone applied for unemployment benefits in his name.
05/01/21 A tree fell on wires causing a brush fire at the bottom of Mine Hill Rd.
05/01/21 A man on a motorized scooter on Hazen St was driving erratically and was advised to get the scooter registered.
05/02/21 A subject reported identity theft after she received a bank card and a visa card in the mail under her maiden name.
05/02/21 Police respond to a report of a 2 yr old found wandering out in the street for the 2nd time and locate the child’s family.
05/03/21 Police notify person of a low hanging wire on Highland Ave.
05/04/21 A caller reported criminal mischief. Two of his tires were slashed overnight.
05/05/21 A subject reported that an unknown person was throwing away his property stakes on Old West Point Rd.
05/05/21 A store reported that a disorderly adult destroyed the store and almost hit two people in their parking lot.
05/06/21 Police and Fire Dept respond to Penny Lane for a fire which started in a garage.
05/06/21 A caller reported that her neighbors car was covered in cheese.
05/08/21 Police respond to Mill St for a report of a dead black cat on the road. The cat was deceased and had no collar or id.
05/10/21 Police take a report of unemployment fraud.
05/11/21 Police find a deer in the roadway with 2 broken legs and dispatch the deer humanely.
05/11/21 Police respond to a report of a person soliciting for a solar power company and asking to see the subjects correct electric bill.
05/14/21 Police respond to a report of a person soliciting for a solar power company and asking to see the subjects correct electric bill. The solicitor said he represented Central Hudson. He was issued a warning.
