Arrests
04/05/21 Christopher M Desposito of Cornwall, NY was charged with a sex offender - failure to change residence charge.
04/09/21 Jason P Lark of New Windsor, NY was arrested and charged with 2 charges of DWI.
04/13/21 Larry B Baker of New Windsor, NY was arrested and charged on a bench warrant and for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 2nd degree and leaving the scene of an accident after he hit a driver turning in to Riley Rd.
04/01/21 Jessica A Derosa, age 43, of Salisbury Mills, Ny was arrested and charged with petit larceny after a follow-up investigation for a shoplifting incident that took place in March at Cumberland Farms on Rt 94.

Incidents
03/30/21 A caller reported fraud. An unknown person asked 03/29/21 A caller reported harassment after a person cursed at her over the phone and made threatening remarks.
03/30/21 A subject reported fraud. An unknown person hacked information on a person he did know to then ask him to send money via Zelle because a person the subject knows was in the hospital. The subject contacted the person he knew to discover it was fraud and also contacted his bank.
03/31/21 A subject reported fraud after an unknown person called her and said he was from the Sheriff’s department and needed her to sign paperwork and then threatened the subject.
04/01/21 A caller stated that a dog was left out overnight and was barking in distress. Police responded and advised the dog’s owner.
04/02/21 A caller reported that a pitfall mix attacked her dog the corner of Perry and Mailer Ave. her dog had multiple injuries and was taken to Flannery Animal Hospital.
04/03/21 A subject reported identity theft involving a credit card opened in his name and charged over $3k in Poland and at Fedex and at Experian to get the victims credit report. Bank of America is investigating the case.
04/03/21 Police and COVAC repose to Russell St for a dog attack. A dog pulled away from its handler an bit a man on the forearm requiring medical attention.
04/06/21 A subject called to report her tan french bulldog “Tannie” is missing.
04/07/21 Grounds Superintendent reported that someone broke into a storage/concession stand. No property was taken.
04/04/21 & 4/08/21 A resident called to complain about a construction crew moving fallen rocks from his stone wall as they were installing a fence for his neighbor. Police advised subject that this is a civil matter.
04/08/21 A caller from Buffalo Bio Diesel reported that the oil that they were contracted to pick up from Peking China restaurant was stolen by another contractor.
04/10/21 A dog on a leash walking alone was picked up and brought to Walden Animal control. No description of dog.
04/11/21 A caller stated that his bike that he left on the sidewalk in front of his house was stolen overnight.
04/13/921 Police respond to a 2 vehicle accident on Rt 32.
04/14/21 A subject reported fraud. The subject stated that a person filed for unemployment as an employee of the subject.
04/15/21 Police respond to a 2 vehicle accident on Rt 9W north with property damage.
04/16/21 Police respond to a restaurant for a report of an unwanted party. A couple sat at a table, did not order food and then refused to leave.
04/16/21 Police respond to a 2 vehicle accident on Rt 9W with no injuries.
04/16/21 A husband and wife filed a complaint of fraud. Unknown people attempted to get unemployment benefits in their names.
