Arrests
03/07/21 Luis A Cardenas, age 46 of Linden, NJ was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the 2nd degree and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 2nd degree.
Incidents
02/22/21 Complainant states that within the past 3 weeks 2 men have come onto his property at night and he advised them to get off of his property.
02/22/21 Police assist Highway Dept with vehicle blocking plow access on Alfred St.
02/24/21 A subject brought 2 chihuahuas into Police that were found. Police transported the dogs to ASPCA.
02/25/21 Police take a report of a utility truck that caused damage to a pole.
03/02/21 Police respond to Clarkwood Dr for a hanging power line and contact Central Hudson.
03/02/21 A subject reported fraud. Someone filed a fraudulent unemployment claim.
03/02/21 Police take a report of larceny of cigars from Cumberland Farms on Rt 94.
03/03/21 Police dispatch an injured deer humanely.
03/04/21 Police take a report of larceny of a chef’s knife that a subject ordered by mail. The subject found the empty box near her home.
03/05/21 An unknown subject tried to take 2 chairs from Leo’s and was told to leave.
03/05/21 A man took the street sign for Quaker Ave. and Broadway. He stated he was sorry and the Highway Dept was able to secure the sign back into place.
03/05/21 A caller reported that copper pipes seemed to be removed from a home owned by the bank.
