Philip G. Adams, a Cornwall-on-Hudson resident, entered into rest on Friday, October 2, 2020. He was 61.
The son of the late Philip and Ann McKeefery Adams, he was born on December 18, 1958 in Nyack, NY.
Phil was an active member of the community, involved in all of his sons’ sports. He was the current Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus Cornwall Council 7460. He was also a 4th Degree Member of the John Cardinal O’Connor Assembly #2640 in Monroe.
Phil was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, and he will be deeply missed.
Survivors include: his beloved wife Elizabeth, and cherished sons: Philip and wife Ilana; Brian and fiancée Kara; and Robert and wife Ali; sisters: Georgette Pronesti and husband Frank; Susan Moran and husband Michael; and Mary Lewis and husband William. He was recently predeceased by his lifelong best friend, Paul Piperato.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6 from 4-7pm at James F. Lulves Funeral Home, 9 Avenue A, Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Wednesday, October 7 at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, 340 Hudson St., Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY.
Due to NYS Covid-19 restrictions, there is an occupancy limitation which may cause a wait time. Please be respectful of your time while visiting. Facial coverings must be worn at all times when inside the funeral home and social distancing rules followed.
