Police issue approximately 2 warnings and 30 summonses to drivers including warnings and summonses issued for parking at the riverfront without a permit and warnings and summonses issued during a special traffic assignment.
08/03/20 Police respond to a report of a suspicious package. The reporting person received a package at her residence of 20 face masks she did not order with a return address from China.
08/03/20 Police respond to a report of a truck on Clark Ave. blocking and slowing down traffic. The truck driver said the GPS took him the wrong way.
08/04/20 A DPW worker found a wallet on Andrews St and Police located the owner.
08/04/20 A caller reported fraud. The caller gave out her social security number to someone she thought was calling from the S.S.A.
08/04/20 Police resold to a a report of a tree which fell on a car on Academy Ave.
08/04/20 Police take a report of a vehicle damaged by a large tree limb.
08/04/20 Police respond to a tree down on Wood Ave.
08/04/20 Police and Fire Dept respond to multiple calls for wires and trees down in the village.
08/06/20 Police respond to Taft Pl for a report of a CO detector sounding.

08/08/20 Police respond to Bayview Ave. for power lines down and lines on fire in the tree.
08/10/20 Police take a report of suspicious activity. A subject received a call from an unknown persons who state to him “your grandson is in trouble and he needs your help.” The subject hung up the phone.
08/11/20 Police respond to Hudson St for a car vs bike accident with minor injuries.
08/13/20 Police respond to Rt 218 for a motorcycle vs deer accident.
08/19/20 Police find a personal check on Idlewild Ave. and were able to locate the owner.
08/19/20 Police take a report of of fraud. A subject receive a voicemail from someone claiming to be the IRS and demanding money or the IRS would arrest her.
