07/20/20-08/02/20


Arrests
None.


Incidents

Police issue approximately 1 warnings and 9 summonses to drivers including warnings and summonses issued for parking at the riverfront without a permit and warnings and summonses issued during a special traffic assignment.
07/20/20 A caller reported a found turtle Police respond and move turtle to a safe space.
07/20/20 Fire Dept responded to Paula Court for wires and tree burning in a driveway and Police respond to assist.
07/21/20 A caller reported a suspicious woman not wearing a mask and asking to buy a bottle of water from the caller at her home. Caller stated that she believed the woman was looking at houses to burglarize.
07/24/20-08/01/20 A caller complained about loud music coming from a home on Maple Rd. The caller called Police several times. Police responded and people at home were polite and cooperative. Police could not always hear music from the road but did after approaching the back of the property.
07/26/20 A caller reported to Police that a truck was attempting to launch a boat where kayaks launch. Boat was taking on water and was being removed.
07/27/20 Police take a report of a tow truck hit a small stone wall with planters.
08/02/20 Police and New Windsor Police dispatched to New Windsor for a body floating in the river. Scene turned over to State Police. Police assisted with crowd control along the dock.
08/01/20 A man took lawn furniture that was curbside at a residence then later he spoke with the owners and they said the furniture was set out for a lemonade stand, not being thrown out. All furniture returned in same condition.
08/02/20 Police respond to Mountain Rd for a 1 vehicle accident with injuries.
