General News: Sexual Assaults at Storm King School

On February 10, 2020, the New York State Police in Montgomery, NY, charged Henry Alvarez, age 19, of Shadow Hills, California with the following:
--Sexual Abuse 1st degree (2 counts) - Class D felony
--Forcible Touching (2 counts) - Class A Misdemeanor
--Endangering the Welfare of a Child (1 count) - Class A Misdemeanor
The arrest of Henry Alvarez was the result of an investigation jointly conducted by the New York State Police Campus Sexual Assault Victims Unit (Troop F) and the State Police Montgomery Bureau of Criminal Investigation. An investigation determined the sexual assaults occurred on the campus of The Storm King School during the fall 2019 semester.
Alvarez was arraigned before town of Cornwall Justice F. Navarra and posted $5,000 cash bail pending a future court appearance.
